They are generally reasonably priced, especially for something that you are buying because your family and your survival could depend on them. They will last a very long time without spoiling. These meals, along with gold and silver bullion and other survival necessities are the kind of thing that many loons are stocking up on because they believe our society is about to collapse. They think that the economy is in an even more precarious shape than it is in reality. This will have to be heated by a flameless heater. Flameless being the key word, because the last think wanted is to give away a strategic position by negligence. No one will know where you are if you are quiet and do not give off a visible light.
These are the items that the paranoid in modern America like to stock up on. People might have been thought of as odd when purchasing these MRE’s a while back, and they would have been right. Now it seems that a worrying amount of people consider it wise to be well-stocked in such materials, as if they will somehow determine one’s survival in these precarious economic times.
