Laptops are mobile computers, which do not need complicated electrical wiring systems. Laptops are battery operated and so are devoid of wiring systems. They can be used in offices, homes or while traveling and do not acquire a lot of space. Laptops become more and more common and extensive every single year because they offer so many fantastic features to such a broad range of people. But laptops are quite expensive and not affordable for most people who are operating on a low budget. That is why many established companies offer their consumers wise deals to get free laptops in exchange for promoting their products or services.

Laptops can offer a lot of benefits to consumers such as portability, style and entertainment. Because of their compact size and light weight a laptop can be easily taken wherever you need to use a computer, so that you can still keep up to date on your emails and can also do some work even when you’re not at home or in the office. It has also become a status of symbol just like watches and cars. This label also prompts some thieves and opportunists to the possibility of taking it away from you. Multi-entertainment machines, having the ability to play videos, music, games and surf the Internet are only the few things that will keep you entertained while using a laptop, and not just that, hot pink laptops are also available for women, or for even men who adore a nice bright color.

A laptop computer is undoubtedly a great thing to have at your disposal but your decision to choose one over a traditional, desktop computer should not be based only on the possibility of bragging or showing off rights in front of others.  If you are not convinced that this is a purchase that could improve your life then do a little research online to the benefits that a laptop can bring to your working, or personal life and think about committing to a purchase. If you travel for work regularly or over long distances you may well find that a laptop can significantly increase your efficiency, and should repay your financial outlay many times over.

My Experiences With A Dell Pink Laptop

I had bought my Dell pink laptop (the Inspiron line) during my senior year of high school, right after I had learned that I had gotten accepted into college. What drove me to purchase from Dell was their ability to cater to the customer, to allow them to build a laptop to their specifications to best suit their needs, and do it in a timely manner that placed it in my lap in about a week and a half. I was elated when I got the computer. What I didn’t know was how it would later come and haunt me later that I didn’t purchase any insurance to cover any potential problems I may encounter in the future.

The performance of the laptop was more than satisfactory. I had the best display available, with plenty of RAM and a capable graphics card. Through my freshman year I was nearly inseparable from it. I would lug the 12 pound monstrosity from class to class happily. A year later, however, I began to experience problems that are possibly the result of exposing the laptop to the abuse of daily transportation. The first to go was my audio jack, which began to cut out intermittently. Next to go was the display connection. I began to see vertical green lines on the screen, indicative of a faulty connection from the motherboard to the display. Then all of a sudden I was unable to consistently get the power adapter to supply power to the laptop.

Dealing with their customer service was a nightmare. I was often routed to a call center in India where I would talk with technicians (could they really be called that?) that read from a script despite what I repeatedly told them. I was often frustrated by the miscommunication that would happen because they would not be able to understand what I said, or because I couldn’t understand what they were saying. My dealing with them taught me that if I had the foresight to purchase insurance from them, I wouldn’t have to deal with the call center at all, and just send in my laptop for repairs.

So the lesson learned from my experience that I hope to impart to you, is to purchase laptop insurance for at least three years if available. And that the soldering connections in Dell laptops won’t stand up to daily abuse. I would have gladly shelled out the extra hundred dollars to avoid the headache that I had to endure. Customer service isn’t what it used to be, folks. Manufacturers are looking out for themselves, so it’d be in your best interest to look out for #1.

Considerations When Buying Cheap Pink Laptops

What is the first thing you think of when you see the color pink? Could it be something feminine, something childish, a newborn baby girl or even breast cancer awareness?  Anyway you view the color, it makes a bold statement.  So what do you do if your daughter comes home and says she wants a pink laptop?  Your first thought is probably dollar signs and you start thinking of cheap pink laptops and where you might be able to find one.

The whole process of finding the right laptop, whatever the color is, can be overwhelming so take a deep breath and do your research. First find out what will be the main use for this device. Will it be research, typing papers, presentations or looking at videos or networking socially?

If your daughter is a social butterfly then you would want to consider a laptop equipped with webcam and plenty of multimedia entertainment options. For the more studious type then you would want to have word processing programs loaded and high speed internet for researching. A fifteen inch or more notebook screen would also be helpful in either case. Some screens can be just too small and can get frustrating when used extensively; however, if you daughter takes it with her to school then the bigger the notebook, the more weight she is carrying around.  The smaller screen options can be just as efficient and won’t cause back injuries.

Technically, you want to make sure that at the very least the laptop has 500 megabytes of memory and at least two USB ports (most are made with four now). You want to get very good anti-virus software installed and have it setup to do regular scans and updates. Most of your larger electronic stores have an onsite staff that can assist with most setups.  As for the color, everyone wants something they can identify with.  If your daughter comes home and wants to identify with the color pink then let her and if she needs a laptop then start researching and look into cheap pink laptops.

Lightweight, portable, full of features. These are what you could describe the MSI A Series Notebook. It features HDMI output, 1.3 megapixel webcam, a fingerprint reader, and a built-in digital TV Receiver (optional). Pink is offered in PR210 YA, PR200 YA and S271 YA editions.

Fujitsu also offered a limited edition LifeBook P7230 in pink. Though, one can not be seen frequently in the market nowadays.

One has to remember when acquiring a laptop that price, features and durability are the most important aspects to be considered. Color – it is like the wrapping of a present. It’s mainly for presentation and when you are out and about your device will be hidden away in your computer backpack most of the time.
