It usually entails a Flint Tropics jersey with matching shorts and a wig (or possibly, your own hair). The other key ingredients in this funny mockup are Jackie Moon-style wristbands, knee-high striped socks and the headband. If you decide to make your own, be creative: get some old tennis shoes, have steady hands and paint (or spray paint) the orange and teal stripes on them. It’ll probably be much easier not to mar the design with a paint brush over a spray can. Should you want to take it even farther, try the leisure suit that Jackie wears when he’s off the court. It’s a brown jacket with a 70’s-style collar shirt and bell-bottom pants. This is really effective when you have more than one Halloween event to attend—and you do not want to overdo the whole Love Me Sexy motif that you have going. Dress shoes haven’t changed too much from that period, so you should be safe in any brown or black lace-ups.
