The toilet brush and holder are usually the last things you think about when decorating your bathroom. You’ve spent time on picking out colors and designs for the walls and the cabinet. Decided on the matching towels and washcloths and figured you’re done.
Don’t let the toilet brush be an after thought when there are so many different ones to chose from.
Most of us will just purchase the first set we see when we are at the store. That will certainly work and be functional, but why not tie it into your décor that you spent designing. You don’t have to settle for some cheap toilet brush holder at the dollar store. I know times are tough, but for just a few dollars more, you can really make your bathroom pop.
There are many ways to jazz up the look of that toilet brush set. Instead of plain white, why not get a nice color that matches your bathroom, or perhaps a color as an accent? Black toilet rush holders have become very popular lately followed by gold colored holders.
If you don’t want a plastic toilet brush holder, you can find many made of stainless steel and chrome. These models give a very modern and futuristic look to a bathroom. I also think they class a bathroom up. To me there is just richness to using chrome or stainless steel. Plus they are easier to clean and are more sanitary.
Want something really different in a holder? How about getting one in an animal motif?
Maybe you are a dog or cat lover. There are brush holders that can look like your favorite breed. For those keeping records at home, the cat toilet brush holders outsell the dog ones. Do you have children? Maybe they would like a rubber ducky toilet brush set in their bathroom. What about a giraffe one? Yes they do have those on the internet.
Another type that is available is the wall mounted toilet brush holder. I like these too. First it takes the set off of the bathroom floor. This makes it easier to keep the floor clean. There is also no chance of the holder getting knocked over in the bathroom, which for me when you have kids and a dog and a cat, you would welcome.
Just don’t go out and buy the first toilet bowl brush set you see, take some time and use it to accent your bathroom.
