Softside Waterbed Heater: This works on the same principle as the hardside waterbed heater. They however consume lower wattage. Do not use a heater that is designed for a hardside waterbed with a softside waterbed.

Also remember to plug the waterbed only after completely filling it with water. Waterbeds when filled with cold water will become warm slowly. While heating do not try to adjust the water level also. Keep your heating pad away from your sheets and blankets. Place it right below the safety liner. All these precautions will ensure a good night’s sleep.
